Have you completed your National Aging Program Information System (NAPIS) form for 2008?
Your meal is sponsored in part by the National Senior Nutrition Project. We can offer your meals for a donation because the State of South Dakota and the Federal Government reimburse us for part of the cost. If you are 60 or over and wish to dine, for a donation, the Federal Government requires that we have a NAPIS form filled out by you and returned to us one time per year. Your information is confidential. If you do not have a NAPIS form on file with us, we have no choice but to charge you the full cost of the meal, which is $5.75. If you have not yet completed your NAPIS form for 2008, please contact our Nutrition cashiers, Susanne, Priscilla, or Rhonda for the NAPIS forms and assistance. Thank you for your cooperation.

Weather Policy
If the Sioux Falls School system is Closed due to bad weather, then The Center For Active Generations is Closed also. There will be no congregate dining or meals on wheels delivery in Sioux Falls, Brandon, and Tea. If Brandon and/or Tea is close but Sioux Falls is open, there will be No Delivery to those cities. Please listen to the local Television stations and radio stations for cancellation announcements. We will make every effort to deliver meals whenever possible after bad weather, but if drivers do not feel that it is safe for them, they will not deliver. We will not ask the drivers to put themselves in jeopardy.

Looking for a Rewarding Volunteer Opportunity?
The Center for Active Generations Meals on Wheels program needs volunteer drivers to deliver a hot, nutritious meal to home bound persons in Sioux Falls. Delivery is from 10:45 am and routes generally take one hour to deliver . You may volunteer for one hour a week, or more, we will work around your schedule. Please contact Rhonda, the Meals on Wheels Coordinator, at 336 -6748 or 333-3305 for more information.
