More People Than Ever Before Are Remembering The Center For Active Generations In Their Wills... HOW ABOUT YOU? Become a member of the Eagle Legacy Society. Long-time Center members Bob and Millie Kilborn are leaders of the recently established Eagle Legacy Society. For the past 22 years, Bob and Millie have contributed thousands of hours to the mission of The Center by helping with special events and fundraisers, bingo and weekly dances, as well as volunteering each week to pack and deliver meals for the meals on Wheels program. They have a strong desire to make sure that The Center's programs and services are available for future generations. When Bob and Millie Kilborn were doing their estate planning in 1995, they decided to include The Center for Active Generations as a beneficiary in their will. They realize the important part it has played in their lives as well as in the lives of many others. Bob and Millie share: " We have included The Center in our estate plan to help it grow so that everyone in the future can enjoy the many benefits of the various activities and companionship. It is our wish that the Meals on Wheels and Day Break programs continue, as well as all of the special activities. We hope that other Center members and supporters will join us in working together to keep The Center For Active Generations alive and growing!" The Eagle Legacy Society as been created to recognize donors who have included The Center For Active Generations in their estate plans. Eagles have a keen vision and a strong soaring flight, which is what the Eagle Legacy Society symbolizes. Help us grow the endowment funds that The Center For Active Generations has invested with The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. The Kilborns hope their example will inspire others to include The Center for Active Generations in their will. Wills and bequests are like a road map that tells how to distribute your assets to family members, friends, and charitable organizations. Estate planning also includes other methods of transferring your assets, during your lifetime as well as death, such as trusts and annuities. The Center for Active Generations is a gift-worthy nonprofit organization that can benefit from planned gifts such as bequests, trusts, and annuities. These types of planned gifts insure the future for the next generation as well as reducing the amount of government support and maintaining affordable member's fees. If you would like more
