Speaker's Bureau
Looking for a program for your
group? We may have just the subject you're looking for! The Center For Active
Generations is one of the community's premier service providers for older adults
and their families! Center activities include computer classes, fitness classes,
art classes, clubs for drama, writing, biking, hiking, gardening, books, card
games, one-day trips, photography, and numerous other opportunities for more
than 35,000 members.
The Center's Nutrition Program
includes providing Meals-On-Wheels for Sioux Falls, Tea and Brandon plus serving
over 300 lunches in the dining locations each weekday. You or your group may
already be involved in driving for the Meals-On-Wheels program. If not, we
always need more volunteers for this worthwhile project. Please call Priscilla
or Rhonda at 336-6748 if you can help.
DayBreak, a day care program for
adults, provides care and companionship through therapy, recreational
activities, health and medication monitoring (RN on staff) and individualized
care. This program provides a safe and stimulating environment for the
participant as well as a much needed respite for the caregiver.
Our staff is knowledgeable about the
field of aging and is eager to assist you with your programming needs. Our
Speaker's Bureau can be used for club groups, churches, service clubs,
educational lectures or any other needs you might have.
Look over the list or topics and
speakers below and call us today if we can be of assistance with a program this
year. We are also willing to have groups meet in our facility if the time can be
accommodated.
